12 people were invited to join in an Artist Trading Card swap. When Virginia mentioned the project could include sculpture, I couldn’t resist the lure. I went to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston on a scavenger hunt: to find works that I would want to interpret and share with my fellow traders. I was unable to work on site for several dull reasons of logistics, so I photographed the pieces that I wanted and used my tablet to select the details for drawing. I finished them with a watercolor wash because, well, I can’t stay away from paint, or color, or both! I pretend it’s to “practice” with watercolors.
